Overview
At Casaluxy, shipping is free on every order — the cost is already built into the price shown on each product page. Shipping method depends on a product’s size and weight: small, lightweight items (lighting, accessories) ship by Air Express, while large or heavy furniture ships by Sea Freight or Air Express depending on the item.
Each product page shows the applicable shipping method and estimated delivery window for your country, so you know exactly what to expect before you buy.

Shipping Methods
Air Express — Used for lighting, small accessories, and other items light and compact enough to fly economically. Our fastest delivery option; total delivery time, including processing, typically runs 8 to 22 business days depending on destination country — see the table below for your country’s exact window.
Sea Freight — Used for sofas and other large, bulky furniture that cannot be shipped by air at a reasonable cost. A longer delivery window because these items travel by ocean container rather than air: total delivery, including processing, typically runs 21 to 60 business days to the United States and 28 to 40 business days to other destinations — see the table below for your country’s exact window.

Customs & Duties
For most destinations, your order is shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — all applicable import duties and taxes are included in the price you pay at checkout, with nothing further owed on delivery.
The following destinations are not DDP: New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. For orders shipped to these countries, the recipient is responsible for handling customs clearance and paying any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by local authorities upon arrival. These charges are separate from your order total and are set by your country’s customs authority, not by Casaluxy — we’re unable to predict or collect them in advance. Please check with your local customs office if you’d like to estimate these costs before ordering.
Quoted transit times assume normal customs clearance. Delays caused by incomplete customer documentation, unpaid duties, or customs inspections at destination are not included in the estimated delivery window.
Rare exceptions to DDP coverage: we commit to paying all known, applicable import duties and taxes in advance for DDP destinations, and in the vast majority of orders nothing further is owed on delivery. In rare cases outside our control — such as a sudden change in a destination country’s customs regulations or duty rates after your order has shipped, an unexpected customs reclassification by local authorities, or a delay caused by inaccurate address or recipient information provided by the customer — the destination country’s customs authority may still assess an additional charge directly to the recipient. This is uncommon, but if it happens to your order, contact us at info@casaluxy.com with your order number and any customs documentation you received, and we will work with you to resolve it.
Billing & Weight Standard
For shipments where size significantly exceeds weight (such as large furniture), freight carriers charge based on whichever is greater: the item’s actual weight, or its volumetric weight (calculated from its packed dimensions). This is standard practice across the freight industry and is already factored into our product pricing — it does not result in any additional charge to you.
Order Processing
- Processing time: All orders are processed within 3–10 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) before shipping. The delivery timelines below already include this processing time as part of the total.
- Cutoff time: Orders placed after 5:00 PM Hong Kong Time (UTC+8) begin processing the next business day.
- Faster delivery: If you need an order sooner than the listed window, email shipping@casaluxy.com before placing your order so we can confirm whether express handling is possible for that item.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
Shipping Cost
All shipping is free on every order — there are no separate shipping fees at checkout. The cost of shipping is already built into the price shown on each product page, so the price you see is the price you pay, with nothing added for delivery.

Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with an international freight tracking number, which typically becomes active within 48 hours.
For Sea Freight shipments, tracking activity may pause during international transit and resume once the package reaches the local last-mile courier for final delivery. This is normal and does not mean your order has stalled.
If your order does not arrive at all within a reasonable time beyond the estimated delivery window, contact info@casaluxy.com with your order number — see our Refund and Return Policy for the lost-shipment remedy.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if possible, or report the damage to info@casaluxy.com within 48 hours of delivery, where possible, so we can promptly investigate the shipment and work with the carrier. Keep all packaging materials and the damaged item until your claim is resolved. Return requests for damaged, defective, or mis-shipped items — including damage discovered after unpacking — can be made within 60 days of delivery, consistent with our Refund and Return Policy. This reporting window is part of our own return process and does not limit any statutory consumer rights or remedies that may apply under local law — see our Refund and Return Policy for details, including your consumer rights.
